• Created advertisements for use in publications such as Interior Design Magazine and Hospitality Design Magazine.

• Brought all design/production in-house to reduce company costs and produce more effective and cost-efficient marketing materials.

The White House · Washington, D.C. Sept. 2007 – Jan. 2009

Editor | Photographer – Photo Office (Dec. 2007 – Jan. 2009)

• Photographed the daily activities of the President, VP, First Lady, visiting dignitaries, and other senior staff from all angles while ensuring photos were suitable for publication and presidential record.

• Maintained an electronic media library (to archive presidential record) and prepared lighting/equipment for Presidential receiving lines.

• Served as a liaison to the Office of Media Affairs, responsible for researching, editing, and fulfilling media photo requests while editing photos and authoring captions for release to the White House website.

• Photographed historic events such as the visit of Pope Benedict XVI and the G20 Summit.

• Assisted White House photographers (at Presidential/White House events) and editors (with photo editing for press and web releases).

Director – Office of Student Activities & Community Service (Jul. 2007 – Sept. 2007)

• Tasked with managing a student activities team and advising the SGA of over 100 students while facilitating and managing events for weekly campus activities (concerts, comedians, etc.).

• Initiated the LaGrange College Panther Entertainment Committee to provide students with the opportunity to assist in planning and executing all campus activities.

• Oversaw/managed the annual student activities budget ($100K), negotiated event contracts, and supervised/managed all off-campus community service work study locations for 128+ students.

VP of Entertainment – Student Government Association (2006 – 2007)

• Oversaw 20 students on the entertainment council, managed a $50K budget, and collaborated with the Director of Student Activities & Service to coordinate student events.

• Liaised between performers and the college to provide information which was required for appearances.

• Assembled, trained, and coordinated ushers, ticket takers, student security, hired security, and volunteers for campus events.
